Le Bonté - Villeneuve de Duras

Le Bonté translates as "kindness" and is the name we gave to the house when it was built in 2007.

The house was built on a site of site of nearly 2 acres overlooking the village of Villeneuve de Duras.

We live here all year round in a neighbouring property, near enough to offer help or advice should you need it, but far enough to mean the house is nice and private.

Ideal for families, couples, or even those house hunting in the area!!

We are flexible in that you can rent Le Bonté on a nightly to weekly basis. The property has central heating so makes it perfect for winter lets. We will consider long term lets also.

Duras is our local Bastide town with it's own 13th century chateau, restaurants, cafes and bars, small boutiques offering gifts and clothing, pharmacy, butchers, etc. etc.

The region is famed for it's stunning villages and bastide towns, many of which are a short ride away.

There are lots of activities nearby, walking, cycling, wine-tasting, sightseeing, small lakes with beach areas.

Sports fcilities are in abundance with tennis at St Sernin or Duras, 18 hole golf at Vigiers and kayaking at Allemans du Dropt and other villages running alongside the Dordogne.
